Position Overview:

The primary role of the Regional Manager is to develop the pipeline of new business coming into the company. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the company can provide, and of the company's competitors. They must prospect for new mortgage professionals through networking. He/she must develop a rapport with new mortgage professionals, and set targets for growth and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. They are also required to grow and retain existing relationships.

Job Details:

  • Prospect for potential new mortgage professionals
  • Source and attract mortgage professional within your geographic area by using various methods (cold calling, databases, social media, etc.)
  • Meet potential mortgage professionals by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
  • Research and build relationships.
  • Develop business plans that speak to the mortgage professionals' needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Retain and grow existing mortgage professional relationships by providing support and education on company products and services.
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and trends.
  • Present to and consult with senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
  • Maintain current knowledge of mortgage lending policies and procedures.
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.

Job Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of the residential mortgage business and must have developed contacts in the industry.
  • 5+ years with previous sales experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  • Goal oriented high-achiever.
  • Strong Social Skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key individuals.
  • Excellent communication skills (Verbal & Written).
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work well with independently.
  • Proficient with MS Office.
  • Frequent travel within your geographical area.
